Dear BAMMA

I miss you guys like crazy :[. School has started for me and it is a pain in the buttocks. The people that I met at BAMMA are kinda way cooler than some of the people that I have to deal with on a daily basis.

Anyway, I'm doing cross country, so I've been sore everyday I got home from school this week. Even better... haha.

I have a question:

WHEN IS OUR REUNION?

With much love,
Patty :]

Who's actually reading this stuff?

Hey guys.
I would just like to make a point.
I MISS YOU.
Basically since BAMMA, I went to Chicago, tried to take good pictures with my fail camera, came home, and started acting camp and working nights. Yes Jessica, as a stripper.
Haha just kidding.
I work at a theater moving stuff around.
I miss waking up every morning to Eric or Dollicious banging on the door. I miss Renee and Luz being totally crazy while Patty showered. I miss nice cameras and taking billions of pics. I even kind of miss having cameras and video recorders shoved in my face EVERY FREAKING SECOND.
I'll keept this webapropriate and not go off about all the personal things I would say if we were all together right now. Which leads me to another point. I don't know if I ever told you guys this, but those two weeks were some of the happiest ever because I could trust you with everyyything. ( oh wait that's personal...)
So anyways, we should all keep in contact. AND MOSH. call me. I miss yous.
xox
Linnaea.

UGH

hey guys. so today i started my volunteer work at crissy fields. let me tell you, kids are 10 times worse than looking at the guys messy room. i swear, this one kid is KRAZY. with a capital k. cause he's krazy. anyways, as i watched the kids for 8 hours of my life, i realized how damn slow things were going. Then i thought about BAMMA's fast paced life and i was thinking to myself "GOOD LORD, CAN WE START DOING SOMETHING?" And then we walked into the media lab. and i was like "cool beans." until i found out that the "media lab" was just doing quizzes on the computer. i started bawling because I was going to die of boredom. and my feet hurt from my new converses. hoorah.
also, they gave me a camera to take photos. YAY, right?
hell to the no.
those cameras are crappier than horse crap. and thats crappy. i am tempted to just bring my own camera so i can spare myself the horror.
see you guys soon!

Ever eaten sesame cookies? I made some this week, yum...

So I'm reading all the recent blogs and I'm seriously glad I'm not the only one who misses BAmma but DUDES AND DUDETTEs, whats with all the miserable feelings! Bamma was supposed to tranform us for the better!! I'm just kidding :)

After Bamma, I spent a week in a oven New Mexico helping facilitate a training called the Youth Organizer Training Institute. How much college life do I need? After living two weeks on SF State U I spent another week with cockroaches and bad cafeteria food. The lodging at SF STate ruled though! I'm totally prepared for college at least for the part in which you eat and sleep. Where I once had trouble sleeping in new places not I can just pop in earplugs and snore away.

Anyways so one night I'm joggin on the track field with my friends and I happen to wear a jersey from the Chinese olympics. Despite my short and no way near athletic stature, some idiots mistook me for a Chinese Olympics soccer player. I'm glad they didn't ask me for an autograph, but seriously, if I wore a Giants Jersey I'm sure no one would have made that mistake. I should take their astonishment as a compliment though. How often do you see a Chinese person in New Mexico?

After New Mexico, I'm now preparing for school. With a mixture of dread, excitement and new knowledge from my reenergizing summer I should be totally ready to face SATs, College apps, AP classes, personal statements and so on... but I'm as Jackie would say: "frackin" nervous.

I miss the craziness of Bamma that was a home away from home (literally since I will still in sf) where the deepest and silliest discussions would happen simply because there was nothing better to do or worry about.
