I have officially sold my soul to the devil.

It was the day to get cracking. So my editor decided it was best that I go to Trader Joe's to do some hunting-and-gathering for soccer moms and cougars. So I thought it would be totally easy, since I wasn't really afraid of rejection because of all the phone calls that prepared me before.

But I didn't know what I was getting into.

So I'm semi-interviewing and semi-getting rejected, when a lady overhears our conversation. She is all perky and nice and what not. I found out she was a teacher, and I was like "Hellz yeah! Hit it and quit it!" no just kidding. But we went through the interview smoothly. I recorded her with my microphone thing the whole way through. We said our goodbyes and she left.

Its surprising how fast a devil can awaken and spawn in a dumb blonde.

I say she is a dumb blonde because during the interview, she wished to remain anonymous, but insisted that we could take photos of her to publish on the paper.

Is it just me, or does that not make sense whatsoever?

Anyways, The Devil comes back running towards us after a couple of minutes. She begins to morph her face into a demonic child and starts talking about how we cannot publish her interview because she might lose her job. Even though we promised that we would not risk her job and publish her quotes, The Devil insisted that I write and sign a document on the spot to sport me as a new slave. Unfortunately, with her wicked ways, I stupidly wrote and signed the so called "document" (aka a release form to sell my soul) because I was so confused.

But its okay, because my advisor, Jen, was there. She was like, "what the hell?" so she took the paper and said that she didnt feel comfortable enough to give it away.

THEN, out of no where, The Devil reaches out her boney hands and rips the paper from my notebook and steals it. Then she becomes the "nice teacher" and says "Oh, well I'm just making sure. Blahalhlah"

God, she is CRAZY. Then she walks away as the ground opens up to swallow her back into her hellhole.

Lesson: People are crazy. Get used to it.
