Yesterday was amazing! It was my first vigil/ protest ever. It was extremely emotional; there were tons of people there mourning the deaths of close relatives, trying to stay together and be hopeful for their friends and families back home. I took a lot of great pictures, with the help of Jackie and Eric. Thanks! There were posters, flags, and so many other great images, so I tried to get all the best angles and use all those lighting techniques I learned in class. But still, it was hard to remember everything. I interviewed a lot of people, but one that really touched me was a woman who hadn't spoken to her mom since the election. She said it was an "emotional two weeks" to say the least. She's been trying to contact as many people as she can in Iran and trying to spread the word of the true, more graphic violence happening in Iran. She was extremely inspiring and I can only hope that my article could do her justice. Today I went to the protest on Golden Gate bridge. That was crazy! There were tons of bikers, (evil and not so evil) crowding all the streets, making me go insane. I was shoved and shoved some more, but it's okay! I still got great interviews and great pics thanks to Linnaea, Tiffany, Suzy, and Ali. Both protests were unbelievable; I have become so much more aware of affairs happening globally and just becoming more observant in general.

I haven't finished my rough draft! Gah! Extremely nervous! But I'm working on it. Oh and a side note, sorry my blogs are so boring. I'm more of talker.:)
